To become a Licensed Security Officer in the State of Florida you must only complete a total of 40-hours of instruction for a Class “D” license with no required additional training.

To become a Police Officer in the State of Florida you must complete at least 24-weeks of training at your local Police Academy or a State Law Enforcement Training Center. After completing the 24-week training an officer will attend recurring training either within their agency or at the local police training academy.

Our Advanced Security Officer Training will provides the security officer with specific security measures in regards to:

• Criminal Law
• Search & Seizure
• Hand-To-Hand Defense
• Advanced Report Writing
• Patrol Procedures
• Crime Scene Security
• Collection / Preservation Of Evidence
• Field Interview Reports

At ASI Consultants & Associates we have set our Advanced Security Officer Training to a higher level.  We recommend that all Class “D” Security Officers go through Advanced Security Officer Training School at least every six (6) months.  This will assure that you as a Security Officer are mentally and physically prepared to handle the task at hand.

Our instructor Bill Ferrell III, President & CEO is a retired Chief of Police and former District Shift Commander (Lieutenant) for FHP. He brings more than twenty-seven (27) years of real world experience in law enforcement, security protection, dignitary protection, bodyguard, executive protection, executive protection training, protection advance coordination, investigative skills and multi-level management leadership skills.
